I was lucky enough to be one of the first 50 people to get tickets to this years Flash On The Beach. Not only does this mean I’m gonna be off to Brighton on the 20th September for a 3 day jaunt with all the other Flash junkies of the world, it means I got the ticket for a measly £129! Sorry to gloat.
Yesterday I found out I’m going to be representing the UK at the annual Cannes Lions Advertising festival. Me and my partner, Alex Shapowel got through to the final stages of the competition which will be held in France at the end of June. We’ll be competing against 30 other teams from all over the world to try and become Young Cyber Lions of the year. Wish us luck!
There is some seriously good stuff happening in the Flash community at the moment, in particular these experiments done with Alchemy and Pixel Bender, unbelievably fast! Yummy.

Okay first official post! As of late I have been exploring rule based algorithms to do with the very fundamentals of computation, namely Cellular Automata.
I built this little app that is basically a recreation of Conway’s Game Of Life with a few extra bits that allow you to play around with it. CELLULAR AUTOMATA.
