I was lucky enough to be one of the first 50 people to get tickets to this years Flash On The Beach. Not only does this mean I’m gonna be off to Brighton on the 20th September for a 3 day jaunt with all the other Flash junkies of the world, it means I got the ticket for a measly £129! Sorry to gloat.
This is pretty funny. Funny funny.
Yesterday I found out I’m going to be representing the UK at the annual Cannes Lions Advertising festival. Me and my partner, Alex Shapowel got through to the final stages of the competition which will be held in France at the end of June. We’ll be competing against 30 other teams from all over the world to try and become Young Cyber Lions of the year. Wish us luck!
Okay so recently I’ve been playing around with Processing. I came up with this little experiment that was originally created by Chris Langton simulating a ‘virtual ant’ that moves autonomously depending on path that was previously taken.
In this experiment I used 2500 instances of ants. I’ve created 3 different resolutions. ONE TWO THREE.
There is some seriously good stuff happening in the Flash community at the moment, in particular these experiments done with Alchemy and Pixel Bender, unbelievably fast! Yummy.
